The Solari Summit 2026 will take place on Monday, January 12 and Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at the LAX Marriott (5855 W Century Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90045).

This is a mandatory company-wide event for all team members, bringing together our entire organization for two days of collaboration, learning, and inspiration. The Summit will feature interactive workshops, leadership panels, networking opportunities, and an evening team experience at a Los Angeles Clippers game.

Day One - Session One (12:15pm - 1:15pm Select One):

Maintenance IQ / Work Orders: Learn how to streamline maintenance operations using Yardi’s electronic unit inspection and work order tools. This session covers best practices for creating, tracking, and completing work orders efficiently, ensuring timely repairs, accurate documentation, and improved communication between site teams and residents.

Understanding Reasonable Accommodations: This course explores the rights of individuals with disabilities to request changes that ensure equal access to housing. Participants will learn how to identify, evaluate, and implement reasonable accommodations involving policies, practices, or services that remove barriers without creating undue hardship for housing providers.

Opening Doors: Applicant to Resident & Waiting List Management: The workshop will provide guidance on best practices for conducting applicant and resident interview sot ensure accurate information gathering, program compliance, and a positive resident experience.

CyberSmart 101 - This course provides essential guidance on best practices for staying safe online, covering the key do’s and don’ts every user should know. Participants will learn how to identify and avoid common threats such as phishing emails, fraudulent websites, and other cyberattacks. The course also explores practical strategies to strengthen digital security and protect both personal and organizational data.

Receivables: The Receivables class focuses on managing and tracking outstanding balances owed to a community from residents. Receiving incoming payments, applying incoming payments correctly, following up on delinquencies, and maintaining accurate receivables.

Day One - Session Two (1:30pm - 2:30pm Select One):

Electrical Essentials Workshop: This hands on session gives participants practical experience with common electrical tasks in property maintenance. Attendees will review safety protocols, practice troubleshooting, and apply basic repair techniques under guided instruction. The goal is to build confidence and reinforce best practices for handling electrical issues on site.

Unit Turns and Best Practices: This session focuses on the full process of unit turns from move-out to move-in. Participants will review standard timelines, learn best practices for coordination between maintenance and management, and explore strategies to reduce delays while maintaining quality.

Affordable Housing Calculations Made Simple: This workshop will review key calculation methods used in affordable housing compliance, focusing on determining eligibility, rent limits and income qualification under program guidelines.

Navigating Pay & Performance Tools: Learn how to confidently access and review your pay information, benefits, and time-off balances, as well as track your professional growth through annual reviews, surveys, and one-on-one meetings.

Rent Ledger 101: This introductory workshop provides a foundational understanding of the resident ledger and its key components, including rent charges, subsidies, fees, deposits, and adjustments. Participants will learn how to accurately read and interpret a ledger, understand the flow of charges and payments, and ensure overall ledger accuracy.

Day One - Session Three (2:45pm - 3:45pm Select One):

Maintenance Mastery: This course provides an introduction to apartment maintenance inspections, focusing on both preventative and corrective practices that help ensure safety, compliance and short and long term solutions to your maintenance needs. Attendees will learn how to conduct thorough inspections, identify common maintenance issues, document finding effectively, and prioritize repairs.

Smart Systems: From Desktop to Cloud : This session covers best practices for saving, uploading, and organizing digital correspondence and files in cloud systems and network systems. Learn how to manage version control, maintain consistency, and securely share documents to improve efficiency and compliance.

Staying on Track: Processing Move-Ins & Recerts: This workshop provides step-by-step guidance on managing an applicant’s file from initial interview stage through collecting documents, collecting 3rd party verifications and final submission for compliance approval, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with affordable housing program rules.

Navigating Pay & Performance Tools: Learn how to confidently access and review your pay information, benefits, and time-off balances, as well as track your professional growth through annual reviews, surveys, and one-on-one meetings.

PayScan: This session introduces PayScan in Yardi, an electronic invoice processing system that streamlines the entire payable workflow from submission to payment. Participants will learn how to upload and code invoices, track approvals, and monitor payment statuses. The training will also cover how to view and download invoices, locate check details, and verify when payments have cleared.

Day Two - Session One (9:00am - 10:00am Select One):

Maintenance Roundtable: Join this session designed for maintenance professionals to share experiences, challenges, and solutions from the field. Participants will exchange insights, learn from peers, and gain practical takeaways to enhance efficiency, safety, and teamwork in daily operations.

Work Space Organization (Capstone Project):In this hands-on capstone project, participants will apply organizational strategies to design and optimize a functional workspace. The session emphasizes practical skills such as decluttering, workflow setup, and creating systems that support efficiency and productivity. By the end, attendees will demonstrate their ability to organize a workspace that promotes focus and reduces stress.

Managing Community Expenses: This workshop provides a practical overview of how to manage and monitor day-to-day operating costs within your community’s budget. Participants will learn how to interpret budget data, track recurring expenses, and analyze spending for accuracy and efficiency.

Day Two - Session Two (10:15am - 11:15am Select One):

Participants will explore what “leading from within” means in the context of Solari’s mission, learn how to influence positively, and leave with simple, actionable tools to elevate their teams, residents, and daily work.

See It Before They Do: Self-Audit Skills for Success: This workshop empowers team members to take a proactive approach to compliance by mastering internal file auditing techniques. Participants will learn how to review resident files for accuracy, identify and correct discrepancies, and maintain ongoing audit readiness.

Time Flow: Finding Balance in the Busy: This session explores strategies to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and build daily habits that maximize productivity. Participants will learn practical tools for planning, focus, and balance in the workplace.

Vendor Café: Streamlining Vendor Management: This session provides an overview of how Vendor Café supports efficient vendor communication and payment processing. Participants will learn how to navigate the portal to review invoice submissions, track payment statuses, and manage vendor interactions effectively.

Day Two - Session Three (11:30am - 12:30pm Select One):

Standard Materials & Preventive Maintenance: This workshop focuses on establishing consistency and efficiency in maintenance operations through the use of standard materials and preventive maintenance strategies. Participants will learn how to identify approved materials, schedule routine inspections, and perform proactive maintenance.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Workplace: This session explores the practical and ethical use of AI in today’s workplace. Participants will learn how to responsibly integrate AI tools to enhance productivity. While maintaining compliance with company policies and data privacy standards. The workshop will also cover common use cases, potential risks, and best practices for using AI ethically and effectively across departments.

Staying on Track: Processing Move-Ins & Recerts: This workshop provides step-by-step guidance on managing an applicant’s file from initial interview stage through collecting documents, collecting 3rd party verifications and final submission for compliance approval, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with affordable housing program rules.

De-escalation Skills: This workshop equips team members with strategies for recognizing and responding to escalating situations. Participants will learn how to remain calm, use trauma-informed communication techniques, and apply empathy-based approaches to defuse tension before it becomes conflict.

Reserve for Replacement & Bidding Process: This workshop explains how to manage non-operating, capital replacement expenses and the procedures for securing bids. Participants will learn how reserve funds are used to cover major property components such as HVAC systems, roofs, appliances, flooring, and other long-term assets without disrupting daily operations.
