About the Role

To perform the Leasing agent role successfully, an individual must be able to perform
each of the essential duties at a satisfactory level. The position is a Non-Exempt level
role that requires the use of skills attained from industry experience or transferrable
industry skills experience. The Leasing Agent works under supervision of the
Community Manager and under general supervision of the Regional Manager. This
role is responsible for leasing units. These duties are usual and customary part of the
role.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Show units to perspective renters.
- Answer telephones and give information regarding the Community to callers and
walk-ins.
- Distribute brochures / information about the Community and assist in advertising.
- Assist Community Manager in taking rents and maintenance request.
- Act as point of contact with Residents, assisting Community Manager with
collecting rents and balances due as well as communicating Lease violations
and House Rules infractions.
- Assist in the completion of paperwork and required reporting, i.e., leases,
monthly/weekly reports, incident reports, etc.
- Channel resident complaints, problems and documentation to the proper person
or agency.
- Assist the Community Manager in all functions necessary to smoothly operate
the Community.
- Fill in for Assistant Manager position during absences and vacations.
- Coordinate leasing activities such as social functions, radio advertising,
television advertising.
- Assist with training and monitoring day-to-day functions of Leasing Agents
ensuring timeliness and quality completion of all tasks.
Additionally, all team members must adhere to and comply with all policies, procedures,
processes and guidelines of Solari Enterprises, Inc.

Required Qualifications:
- Requires reliable, insured transportation and valid Driver’s License and
insurance
- Must be reliable with minimal unscheduled absences
- Must exhibit professional appearance compatible with company image, positive
attitude, energetic, assertive, and capable of being a role model for subordinates
- Must demonstrate integrity on a professional level
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to interact with a wide range of personalities
- Must possess general knowledge of Fair Housing, 504 ADA, HUD and/or
Section 42 regulations
- Requires computer literacy preferably MS Office Suite and Yardi Software


Compensation:
$20.00/hr
